Delete from the app
Open Account & privacy from your Embrace home screen, choose Delete account, read what will be removed, and type DELETE to confirm. Your request is saved and you are signed out immediately. Signing back in before deletion is completed cancels the request and restores your account.
Request deletion without the app
- Email support@sendembrace.com with the subject “Embrace account deletion”.
- Include the phone number associated with your account, with its country code. Tell us whether you want your entire account deleted or only a particular Embrace.
- We will verify that the account or data belongs to you before completing the request. Never email a sign-in code or password.
We complete deletion within 30 days of your request, subject to verifying your identity. If you can’t use the email link, write to the address above using any email service. You don’t need to sign in or reinstall Embrace.
What is deleted
Account deletion removes your sign-in account, profile, invitation contacts, and the Embraces you organize, including their photos, videos, and generated films. Their invitation and film links stop working. Completed deletion cannot be undone; keep any original photos and videos you want before requesting deletion.
Deleting an Embrace in the app closes its links. Our team completes permanent removal of its stored media and details within 30 days. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.
What may be retained
Service logs are kept for up to 1 year. Security and payment records may be kept longer where the law requires. We can’t remove copies other people have already saved outside Embrace. See our data-retention policy for more information.
Delete a contribution
You can request deletion of a photo or video you contributed without deleting an account. Email support@sendembrace.com with the name you used and whose Embrace you contributed to. Recipients can also request removal of their name or photo. Include the invitation or film link if available so we can locate the data.
